La Clusaz Since 1985, La Clusaz has hosted 18 World Cups and 1 World Championship! It is also a home to many ski champions - 8 in total: Cluses - Perillat, Grospiron, Cavagnoud, Vittoz and others were crowned World Champion in almost every ski discipline.

Renowned for its broad choice of activities La Clusaz has easy access to Manigod ski resort via the ski lifts.
It is also easy to reach the adjacent village of Le Grand Bornand with the regular shuttle buses which are free for Aravis ski pass holders. Alpine skiing in La Clusaz continues to evolve with the addition of new ski disciplines.
Balme, Beauregard, l’Etale, the Croix Fry needle/Merdassier Cross allow the skiers and snowborders to use various ski areas according to their ability level. Whether a beginner or a professional, La Clusaz indulges skiers on with 84 slopes across the an area of 132km.
Cross-country ski lovers are also spoiled with a whole choice of valleys and tracks, making La Clusaz an international ski destination. Les Confins, the official site of the Ski World Cup, offers a splendid ski area with 52km of marked tracks and a 7km “black” run named ‘Frasses’. Further to this there is the valley of Les Confins which leads directly to the village of Le Grand Bornand as well as the Beauregard Plateau, very popular for cross-country skiing.
